Smartphone Gamers on the rise.

Recent studies quoted on industry favourite website Gamasutra confirm Gametrenders speculations that smartphone gaming is becoming ever more popular. Of thirty thousand people interviewed it appears that almost thirty percent are now using their phones for gaming.
An increase of 1.6 percent from previous studies.

How long we wonder before smartphone gaming becomes the defacto standard, not from necessity but from choice? Find Gamasutras quoted article here.
