Recent studies quoted on industry favourite website Gamasutra confirm Gametrenders speculations that smartphone gaming is becoming ever more popular. Of thirty thousand people interviewed it appears that almost thirty percent are now using their phones for gaming.

Personally I have a myriad of reasons to game on my phone, not least a time poor lifestyle involving lots of travelling.
