Crafting - blocks
In the world of Minecraft, you can make most objects by crafting. Simply enter your inventory and then hit the 'craft' button in the top corner. If an object's name is written in white, it means you have the materials to make it.
Tap on the big ingredients list box on the right to craft the item, and instantly add it to your inventory.
Of course a crafting table is also necessary for some of the bigger and more elaborate objetcts. Some examples of forthcoming objects that Notch's game might reference but aren't available yet:cakes, mushroom stew, fish.

What is Smelting?
Here is where the new furnace update becomes important, just select the furnace to bring up the smelting menu this will allow new objects to be created by melting down other objects.
What Fuels should I use for Smelting?
Tap the top-most box, and then choose one of the highlighted materials from your inventory on the left of the screen. Then, tap the box below and pick one of your fuels. Some fuels are more effective than others - be creative with your use of fuels something like coal will burn for a long time, but sticks not so long.
You need to provide enough fuel so that the material completely melts (represented by the arrow that changes from grey to white) before your fuel is used up. You can put in a lot of fuel, and you can collect any leftovers when the smelting process is over.
Where to find Natural materials (clay, iron ore etc.)
You'll need to find those resources in the wild.
The list below will help you find those naturally occurring materials in your random Minecraft world.

Hey, i dint understand the recipes add fuel. Where to get fuel? Please help. Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteUse something like coal or sticks to add to the material you want smelted from the smelting menu.
Deletefuel is usually wood or stuff that you made from wood; you can also use fuel as wood. You need fuel for furnace
DeleteI can't collect string, bone, or feathers. The creature will drop them when killed, but I can't pick them up. I have the very latest update of Minecraft PE for my iPod, so it doesn't need to be updated. Can you tell me what's going on and what I should do? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not there's a limit on objects you can have in your inventory. Choose the oes you don't want and use them until they run out or break, this will free up more inventory space.
Deletemaybe ur backpavk is full O__o
DeleteBuild A Chest Out Of wood And Try putting Stiff In The chest the in should work
DeleteINVENTORY STUFF TO CHEST. COLLECT STUFF.DUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
DeleteHow do I make green woool?
ReplyDeleteDying a sheep with green dye before shearing it will get you the most green wool for your effort, but wool blocks can also be dyed individually.
Deleteyou get cactus, and then smear it the furnace and it'll make green dye. Then kill a sheep and take it's wool and then go to the crafting box and click on the green wool
DeleteHi I don't know how to make gold ingot can you help please and I also do have the latest update

DeleteI can collect and cook food. how do you eat it?
ReplyDeleteyou hold the food as in click on it and then hold down the screen somewhere and itll eat
DeleteHow to eat food in Minecraft PE: Firstly you can only eat if you are missing health, put the food in your hot bar and select it. Now look away from any mineable areas and act as if you are mining a block, result-you're eating in the Pocket Edition and regenerating health.
ReplyDeleteI have bow and arrows. How do I shoot them?
ReplyDeleteSee our reply on our other Mnecraft PE Guide.
Deleteu just hold the screen duuh
Deleteyou click on the bow and hold down the screen, a cross should appear and when you let go, u shoot
DeleteHey Im quite a senior at Minecraft Pocket Edition. But as I was Walking around my world I noticed that there was know sugarcane anywhere. Is this a possibility or is there maybe one sugarcane plant in my world?
ReplyDeleteHi Xavier thanks for reading. Some seeds just don't have sugarcane! Look around water for any chance of finding sugarcane or try this seed"Lambek" whichs known to have four cane pants which can be used to grow more.
Deleteumm in the next update can u put armor?
ReplyDeleteok my son has me playing this game and I will admit is a little addictive./wink. I saw on his game that he is growing wheat and such. Where do i find the seeds to grow such stuff?
ReplyDeleteWe are playing the pocket edition. Thanks
Ever since the latest update you will now enable to use a hoe which is crucial for finding seeds and other farming activities. The best place to find wheat seeds is b running through long grass with the hoe out, it's not an easy find though. For more impressive farming try to grow sugarcane ,which grows to an impressive height, by placing a cane plant on a dirt block which is next to a water block. For the full farming experience try starting your own cattle ranch:
DeleteMaking your own Minecraft PE cattle ranch: designate a good location, place a light source up high, now go to sleep. Come the morning animals should have gathered around the light, all ready to be corralled .
DeleteWhat are the light sources?
DeleteTORCHES!
DeleteSo the black, grey, and white speckled blocks cannot be mined, right?
ReplyDeleteYes, that is the bedrocks, the farthest you can go. You can only mine them in creative mood, and when you mind them in creative mode, you go to a whitish blue space and then you die. If you are gonna try, just dig straight down and if you dont want to die, just fly when you reach the bedrocks and stay in the air until you finish mining the bedrocks.
DeleteOn my iPad I can't light the furnace in creative mode... Is it possible?!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteYou can only use the furnace and creating box in survival not creative.
Deleteit wont let me insert coal into the furnace?
ReplyDeleteHow do i break glass bricks to make window panes?
ReplyDeleteYou dont brake it, you just leave the glass blocks in your inventory and then go to ur creating box and look for glass panes thingie..then make glass planes from glass bloks... o3o
DeleteI have the pocket edition for my Ipad, went to my craft box and there are no tools listed in by box, they were there at first but not anymore. Can't make anything now except wood, stick, ect. What's going on?
