Google Glass is set to be the big buzzword for 2013, with the first of two hackathons planned in late January/early February "Glass Explorers" are set to get their first taste of the new wearable Google product.
If you haven't heard of it yet you soon will: the Google Mirror APi code named Glass Foundry will allow hands on time with the new bit of kit that promises new ways to interact with the world from gaming, to location based apps and even at its greatest extent to making a free website builder using the APi! In San Fran and New York you can attempt to get hands on in the Glass Hackathons that will show off the augmented reality head mounted display at its best. If you're a developer then expect to pay $1500 for the privilege of getting to know the Google X Lab created product intimately.
